David studied composition, conducting, piano and bassoon at Trinity College of Music, London. Most recently he has been the associate conductor on Ragtimeat the Piccadilly Theatre, London. Before that he was the musical director for the U.K. tour of Miss Saigon and the assistant musical director on My Fair Lady (Royal National Theatre, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane).
As an orchestrator/arranger his credits include High Society - additional arrangements (Sheffield Crucible), Maltby & Shire Live (Album), Walking On The Sun (Rotherham Millennium Musical), Sunburn (BBC drama), A Twist Of Fate (Singapore Repertory Theatre), Dash with Wayne Sleep (London Coliseum), Mixed Doubles, Rogues To Riches (Watermill, Newbury), The Secret Garden (Manchester, Library), Jean De Florette (Workshop). He has worked in close association with Mary Hammond and is a regular member of staff at the Royal Academy of Music.
