Jennifer is a NIDA graduate and has performed in companies throughout Australia, mainly as a contract artist with the Melbourne and Sydney Theatre Companies. She has played leading roles in Ibsen, Sophocles, Moliere, Tennessee Williams, Shaw and Shakespeare; in Ayckbourn, Pirandello and Racine. She was memorable as Vita Sackville-West in the Sydney Theatre Company’s Vita and Virginia with Ruth Cracknell. |
In 1991 Jennifer joined NIDA for 6 years as the Acting Tutor. In 2001 she was awarded the Gloria Payten Foundation Fellowship to study theatre in San Francisco and Tel Aviv. Over the past twelve years Jennifer has directed many plays, including national tours of Robert Hewett’s The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, John Misto’s The Shoehorn Sonata and a revival of Ron Blair’s President Wilson in Paris.
