Marian grew up in South Africa , where the diverse culture inspired her fascination with the human spirit. She felt the need to explore this and discovered the joy of performing at a young age. At eighteen she decided she wanted to further her acting training, moving to Sydeny to complete the Journey program at Actors Centre Australia . (Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts graced this unique establishment while studying).

Since graduating in 2006 she has played on many stages, from festivals; 'The Knock Knock Arts Festival' to seasoned shows, 'City For Sale ' at the Darlinghurst Theatre. Most recently she had the pleasure of working on 'Pacific', Spielberg's latest mini series due out early 2010.
